Samantha Steele
Musician, Producer, Educator, and Consultant
My journey in music began in Essex, where I attended Havering Music School. I started learning both the violin and piano at the age of four, developing a lifelong passion for music. My love for music has been shaped by a diverse range of influences, from reggae and soul to orchestral and cinematic compositions.

My professional career began in music education, where I dedicated 16 years as a secondary music teacher. In this role, I worked both collaboratively and independently to create enriching opportunities for students, organizing extracurricular activities that allowed them to participate in orchestral concerts and engage with professional musicians.
My teaching career also extended internationally, where I served as both a music educator and a CELTA-certified English teacher.
In addition to teaching, I have built an impressive portfolio as a musician, producer, and project manager. As a violinist in the London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra (LCCO), I remain deeply connected to orchestral music while simultaneously composing and producing my own works. My compositions often blend elements of soul, orchestral arrangements, and cinematic depth, reflecting my broad musical influences.
My production work includes collaborations with independent artists, resulting in multiple music releases. Actively sharing my work on platforms like SoundCloud and Instagram under the name I Am Lady Steele, I am also growing my presence on LinkedIn as a composer and producer.
Currently, I am expanding my career into project management, leveraging my extensive experience in education and music. I have obtained a Project Fundamentals Qualification and am furthering my expertise through PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
Alongside my studies, I play a key role in the Woolwich Works Creative Club, where I provide administrative management and support creative programming.
As an engaged member of the Arts and Culture Network, I am committed to fostering creative communities. My contributions help sustain initiatives that support artists and musicians, reinforcing my dedication to the cultural sector.
Looking ahead, I aim to integrate my background in teaching, music, and project management into a dynamic career that bridges creative education, music production, and arts administration. My journey exemplifies adaptability, passion, and continuous artistic and professional growth.
