Pernilla Bennet
Interior Designer
Founder at The House of Bennet Interior Design
Hello, I’m Pernilla Bennet, founder of House of Bennet, an international interior design studio based in Zurich/Zug, Switzerland. I’m thrilled to be a full member of The Arts and Culture Network, an organization that shares my passion for art and history.
At House of Bennet, we are renowned for our exceptional sense of architecture and design. Our studio integrates art and history seamlessly into interiors, a design philosophy enriched by my extensive travel and cultural explorations. Our portfolio primarily features residential projects in Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, with a selection of commercial projects.
Our success is rooted in partnerships with skilled craftspeople and artists, combined with meticulous preparation. This approach ensures high-quality results, timely project completion, and adherence to budget constraints. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including turnkey interior design, interior architecture, project management, art selection and creation, bespoke built-in solutions, textile design, and furniture design for private individuals, businesses, architects, and developers.
Every project is unique, and my team and I approach each with an open mind, recognizing the distinct needs of every client and space. We steer away from conventions and trends, focusing instead on creating distinctive, functional, and timeless interiors that resonate with our clients’ experiences and personal histories. Our designs pay homage to the owner’s life through art, furniture, textiles, materials, and collected objects, while considering the building’s surroundings and history to enhance authenticity and value.
With almost a decade of experience as the creative director and project manager, my background in home textiles and fashion, combined with a BA (Hons) (1st) in Interior Design from Staffordshire University, UK, and an MA (Hons) (1st) in Interior Design from De Montfort University, UK, has provided me with a solid foundation.
Additionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, textile technology, and fashion design. I continually expand my knowledge through ongoing studies in art history, fashion forecasting, film in relation to fashion, European history, and environmental textiles. This extensive education and experience enable me to create interiors that are both meaningful and visually captivating.
I am incredibly happy to be a part of The Arts and Culture Network, and I look forward to sharing and growing with fellow members who are equally passionate about the arts.
