Patrick OLeary
Creative Producer Theatre
Driven by a desire to amplify unheard voices, I recently founded About Time Productions, LLC, where compelling stories on issues shaping our world are crafted, fostering empathy, understanding, and action.
My career began as an Assistant Technical Director in Summer Stock Theatre. After moving to New York City I landed my first job as an Stage Manager on the original Broadway production of Annie, the national tours of Sweeney Todd and Annie. and Blood Brothers on Broadway, and numerous summer stock tours before becoming a production manager for regional theatres including North Shore Music Theatre and the Ordway in St. Paul, MN.
In-between theatre gigs I managed two grant programs for New York City's Department of Cultural Affairs where I led the organizational and operations planning of the conversion of an abandoned school on the upper east side of Manhattan into the Julio De Burgos Cultural Center, ran TDF's travel program, and served as Director of the Tour Department for CAMI, overseeing national tours of the worlds leading orchestras and dance companies. After leaving the Big Apple I was the ED at two non-profit theatres, and MD at the Inge Center and Festival.
