As Fusion Performance Artists, my wife Alice and I create and perform original ambient music and poetry as Words2Music. Our work blends spoken word, live music, and multimedia to offer immersive, and thought-provoking experiences.
Each performance is carefully crafted, exploring themes like mental health, mindfulness, and humour, and we tailor our content for a variety of venues, arts centres, festivals, cabarets, and even corporate events, ensuring it aligns with specific narratives or key messages.
Our dynamic performances bring Alice’s evocative poetry to life with my music, creating a rich atmosphere that enhances the meaning and emotion of each piece. We also support each other in our work as care home entertainers, offering uplifting singalong sessions to elderly and dementia residents. Our shows combine music therapy, light exercise, and interactive fun, with me providing the musical backdrop on keyboard while Alice leads the group in engaging and joyful activities.
Together, we bring our shared passion for the arts and human connection into both creative performances and therapeutic care, fostering a sense of community and well-being wherever we go.
