Meet Scolby.

Scott Colby is the Founder of Cruise Music, a songwriter and guitarist, and a model to boot. He’s on a mission to save the music industry - and maybe even change the world while he’s at it. Hold on to your guitars, because Scott firmly believes that Cruise is set to be the biggest band the world has ever seen, sparking a rock ‘n’ roll revival that’ll echo from the UK to every corner of the globe.

It was great getting to know Scolby (his catchy nickname), having him study guitar in Italy in the fantasy cultural year Mark. created for him, and playing the fast paced This or That game.

Scott Colby’s story begins with inspiration from Noel Gallagher’s anthems to the soulful strains of Stevie Wonder.

Scott embarked on his formal education at the University of York, where he dipped his toes into the world of Economics and Politics from September 2022 to December 2022.

Not one to be tied down by convention, he swiftly shifted gears to the University of East Anglia, immersing himself in Film and TV Studies with a side of Music from September 2023 to June 2024.

Here, he climbed mountains, both literal and metaphorical, as a member of the Climbing and Friendly Runners Clubs, and honed his craft with the Music Production Society.

March 2024 marked a pivotal moment in Scott’s career with the birth of Cruise Music. As the mastermind behind Cruise, Scott has declared nothing short of a musical revolution. With the swagger of a rockstar and the ambition of an empire builder, Scott proclaims Cruise as the medium for the greatest soundtrack (album) of all time. Based in the London area, he’s been blending the raw energy of live gigs with digital prowess to reach audiences far and wide.

Adding another string to his bow, Scott joined the ranks of Models Direct in April 2024. With his striking looks, he’s been turning heads and gracing campaigns, proving that rockstars can indeed strut their stuff on and off the stage.

Scott’s musical palette is as varied as a festival lineup. His brother's influence opened the door to Noel Gallagher and Oasis, whom Scott adores unapologetically. The diverse sounds of Madness, Bon Jovi, Metallica, and George Harrison blend seamlessly with the modern beats of Calvin Harris and Example. Recent influences like Pedro Danger, The Libertines, Jamie T, and Yard Act add fresh layers to his sonic tapestry.

This fusion of electronic, shoegaze, funk, dance, grunge, folk, punk, rock ‘n’ roll, indie, ska, soul, metal, and country culminates in a sound that is unmistakably Scott Colby.

He hopes his own music can offer solace and joy, especially to the youth and working class, fostering a sense of optimism that bridges generations.

Ever the visionary, Scott’s call to arms for most driven band members is clear: they must be mad for it, kind-hearted, and ready to prove their point.

As Scott Colby’s journey unfolds, one thing is certain: the world of music better brace itself, because the rock ‘n’ roll revival is here, and it’s cruising full speed ahead.
