Meet Samina Naz.



Meet Samina Naz, the founder of Talking Sense Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, a social enterprise, focusing on human rights and social causes in Pakistan. With the privilege of collaborating with national and international organisations, civil society, and government institutions, Samina has successfully managed multimillion-dollar programs over her career.

Her work spans a wide array of crucial areas, including the right to education, legal empowerment of the poor, juvenile education, gender equity, child rights, and much more. Notably, she played a pioneering role in the fight against acid violence in Pakistan, successfully leading the advocacy campaign for The Acid Control and Acid Crime Prevention Act, 2011.


Her portfolio includes overseeing over 100 grants related to advocacy, outreach, and awareness raising, showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact.


Samina Naz is deeply committed to creating pluralistic societies through accessible communication, particularly in the digital area. By building capacities in digital and strategic communication, content development, and providing a platform for marginalised voices, Talking Sense aims to contribute to a more just and egalitarian society.


Samina's specialised skills range from grant-making and management to team building, project monitoring, strategic communications, and public relations. Her role as Communications Manager in Islamabad further highlights her expertise in interpersonal communication, project planning and teamwork.


Samina's dedication to using the arts for social transformation and promoting citizens' voices align seamlessly with the Arts and Culture network objectives.
