Meet Jack Leigh.
Meet Jack Leigh, a filmmaker and the Creative Director at Eight Engines, an established video production agency based in Manchester, known for crafting captivating videos for brands, for corporate, for the arts and any client that needs compelling video content that is impossible to ignore. The videos he directs and manages are “Guaranteed to turn heads. Guaranteed to make people feel.”
In our interview, I created Jack's fantasy cultural year from the answers to ten easy questions. Jack chose New Zealand as his starting point. Expect some fun.
Jack's journey in the world of film began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television Production, where he graduated with First Class Honours from Edge Hill University. Building upon this foundation, Jack further honed his skills in journalism, earning an Honours Diploma in Feature Journalism from the London School of Journalism.
Jack's professional trajectory includes diverse experiences that have shaped his creative vision. He started as an Assistant Producer at Riverhorse, where he contributed to documentary projects spanning three continents, supported by international agencies like the UN, the EU, and the UK government. His role encompassed various responsibilities, from production coordination to camera work, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the craft.
Now, he is the Creative and Managing Director at Eight Engines. They offer the following:
