Meet Vicky Labinger, UK-based business mentor to interior designers and full member of The Arts and Culture Network.


I had the pleasure of interviewing Vicky recently and you can watch that interview below.


Vicky provides business support to interior designers through, shared expertise and experience, education, and community engagement.


She recognised the support needed for interior designers after setting up her own design business in 2020.


She saw that solopreneur designers had little support on how to set up and build their businesses within their field.


Utilising her 30+ years’ experience working in startups to big business, she created a space for designers to come together, work with her in small groups, or on a one to one.


As a designer herself, she faces the same challenges as her peers, and uses her knowledge and expertise to guide other interior designers to grow successful businesses.


When working with an interior designer for the first time, Vicky uses her Fresh Pair of Eyes service looking at 3 key areas of their business: Financials, Service and Pricing, (plus Marketing).


At the first meeting, Vicky provides 3-5 actions for a designer to take to move their business forward.


Vicky is a Certified Business Strategist through the Lisa Johnson Academy.
