Meet Chilian Estevez Heredia

In a world where ballet meets the marvels of neuroscience, Chilian Estevez stands as a beacon of innovation and passion.

With a mission to sculpt well-rounded individuals through the elegance of ballet with the intricate workings of the nervous system. A visionary with an eye for detail and a heart brimming.

It's was beautiful hearing about Chilian's work and the good she brings by nurturing the ballet talent. Through the creation of her Fantasy Cultural Year, Chilian recommends the book BECOMING A SUPER NATURAL BY JOE DISPENZA. "He’s not only mixing energy spirituality with neuroscience but also giving exercises on how to change the neurocircuitry of the brain."

Chilian's formal education in ballet started in her teens when she enrolled at a prestigious dance academy.

The quest for understanding the connection between the mind and body led her to explore not just ballet, but the very essence of movement.

She immersed herself in learning how the nervous system communicates, translating feelings and sensations into harmonious motion.

Rigorous training also included mastering the control of body functionality in motion and techniques to improve balance and stability.

With a vision to revolutionise ballet training, Chilian founded Inspiral Ballet. Here, she designed courses that blended traditional ballet techniques with scientific insights. The workshop, "The Thinking Body in Motion," became a rare opportunity for students to explore movement through the nervous system using their senses. Participants left not only with a deeper understanding of the mind-body relationship but also with practical skills and a certificate acknowledging their CPD hours.

Inspiral Ballet offers group lessons segmented by age, physicality, and ability level. These lessons focus on technical and artistic ballet elements, helping students understand their bodies anatomically.

Individual lessons aimed to strengthen core stability and refine technique from basic to complex steps, respecting each student's natural physical development.

Chilian Estevez - a holistic approach to ballet.

Chilian introduced floor barre classes to enhance flexibility, coordination, strength, and control.

By working with the body supported by gravity, dancers could accelerate kinetic connections with the neurological system.

Her innovative approach included teaching the mind to unlock tension points passively, paving the way for increased joint and ligament range of motion.

At Inspiral Ballet, Chilian ensured that repertoire coaching was more than just practice. She provided artistic tools for dancers to synchronise beauty and technique, embedding every gesture within the historical and musical context. This method emphasised clean, pure, and virtuous technical steps, allowing dancers to express their full capabilities and emotions.

Chilian's workshops for teachers went beyond visible movements to delve into the scientific aspects of anatomy. By dissecting the musculoskeletal system and applying physical laws, she enables teachers to structure geometric body alignment, connecting dance to universal mathematics principles. This approach ensures that students dance safely and securely from within.

In her latest venture, Chilian established "Rise the Art of Ballet," an international ballet hub for young talents aged 16-22. This initiative provides high-caliber technical and artistic training, performance exposure, and professional showcasing opportunities.

With a robust weekly schedule that includes diverse dance forms and interdisciplinary collaborations, Chilian continues to enhance the capacity of young dancers to excel in the professional world. She is currently looking for mentors and other people who could help bring Rise the Art of Ballet to help realise this innovative initiative.
