Meet Bente Mirow (Life coach to creatives)

Bente Mirow - emotional intelligence life coach.

Bente Mirow is a seasoned professional writer, editor, life coach, and the founder of InnerWeather.com, a platform dedicated to emotional intelligence and social skills.

In our interview, I created Bente's fantasy cultural year. Expect surprises, anecdotes, laughter and conversational detours.

With over 35 years of writing experience, Bente has built a career at the intersection of creativity, personal growth, and practical wisdom. Her journey has been shaped by diverse professional paths, including airline management, sailing, and the art industry, all of which have broadened her worldview and informed her unique perspective on life.

Originally from Denmark, Bente has spent many years living in California, navigating the blend of two cultures, languages, and perspectives. This multicultural background has infused her work with a deep appreciation for the complexity and diversity of human experience.

From an early age, she has been captivated by the power of the mind, a fascination that led her to explore various spiritual teachings and practices. This passion for mental and emotional mastery now defines her work as a HeartMath Mentor, certified in Building Personal Resilience, and as a guide for those seeking inner well-being.

As the founder of InnerWeather Explorer, Bente has developed a transformative approach that synthesises mental mastery, emotional intelligence, and heart coherence.

Her work is aimed at helping individuals tune their internal "thermostat," balancing the intelligence of the mind and the heart to achieve lasting emotional and cognitive harmony. Through personalised guidance and insights, Bente empowers her clients to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and clarity.

Bente’s expertise in social-emotional learning is also reflected in her contribution to the "180 Degrees Program," for which she wrote curricula for elementary school students. These life skills books are now used in schools across the United States, underscoring her commitment to nurturing emotional intelligence in future generations.

In addition to her work as a mentor and educator, Bente continues to write and edit on a broad range of topics. Whether crafting articles, guest writing for publications, or helping others develop their own writing projects, she brings a wealth of experience and insight to every endeavour.

Her academic background, which includes a Master's Degree in Humanities with a focus on creative writing and the spiritual in art, further informs her thoughtful and reflective approach to both her personal and professional life.

For those seeking guidance on emotional intelligence, heart-brain coherence, or simply a fresh perspective on their writing projects, Bente offers consultations through InnerWeather.com. Her lifelong exploration of the mind, heart, and spirit has given her the tools to help others discover their own paths to inner balance and well-being.

You can find Bente on LinkedIn here, on her website here, and reach her by email here.
